Medizone Funding Gets The Green Light
Shareholder Update - January 2011
From The Desk Of Ed Marshall
It is with a heartfelt sense of satisfaction along with pride in the entire Medizone team that I’m able to make the following announcements:
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has formally given notice of the effectiveness of the Stock Registration Statement filed by the company on January 4, 2011. This was in conjunction with the Stock Purchase Agreement the Company entered into with Mammoth Corporation of Lake Zurich, Ill., first announced on November 18th.
This Notification by the SEC permits the Company to immediately begin accessing up to $10,000,000 in funding made available under the Stock Purchase Agreement.
Medizone now has in place the financial and commercial partners needed in order to achieve production status for AsepticSure™ followed by full commercialization and eventual global licensing for the entire product line.
We’re also pursuing an accelerated path forward regarding the review process for our pending patent applications, with the express intention of achieving granted patents in the shortest time-frame possible.
A journal article on the AsepticSure™ science authored by Drs Dick Zoutman, Michael Shannon and Arkady Mandel is currently under peer review with a prestigious and highly respected medical journal. The name of the journal and publication date will be released as soon as we receive positive confirmation from the journal regarding acceptance and publication date.
It's obviously been a great start to the New Year... and yes, there’s more to come in the months ahead.
Best wishes,
Edwin G. Marshall
